i often do some voluntary works for red cross and kids school in my hometown, but it's hard to find such activities in this city. i tried many times but ended with nothing. anybody knows how to join in it please drop a line to let me know.

You can visit Shenzhen volunteer activities website: http://www.sva.org.cn/ and choose the district you want to be a volunteer. Fill the application form and follow their instruction.
