China post money orders are not reconized outside of China. As it stands the RMB is not traded freely on the international market as of yet. If you need to send money somewhere then it is better to go through the bank of China and wire it, it is a lenghty process and you first need to exchange for USD and then you must wire it to another account, plan to spend most of your day in the bank doing it.
