I am planning a trip to tibet in August. I know that before I go I have to obtain a Tibet Tourism Bureau Permit and I can only get one through a travel agency.  Is there an agency in shenzhen that can issue me one? Also, I want to take the train to Lhasa, yes I know it is a long trip, what‘s the best way to book the ticket?  Any tips would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

yeah, I’ve heard the admission for Tibet is necessary, and can get from the travel agency for a non-journalist and non-diplomat. http://www.melodytour.cn/lv/   there some information for Melody China. It’s an English website and serves some information for travel to Tibet. Try it and may be a fantastic finding. As for the train ticket, also get help from the agency, but an explorer just go to luowu station, and you can secure one without speaking Chinese. Somebody has ever done it at station. Good luck to you!

foreigners should have two copies front page of your passport so as to get the permission letter. You can contact Miss tan 13798245381 to process it. The fee would be 600 RMB.
