Since this week, in Beijing PSB, all you can get is 6 months F VISA, 2 entries, valid till September 15. After the celebration, things might change bit by bit, but still very slow. Current price, if you are from Canada, Australia, France,etc, RMB1900yuan. From L to F, tough. It can be renewed, but expensive. So better get a F first then come get 6 months F visa from anther city, not Beijing, which we can do.

i was there for F visa, not sure which other ones they can process there. I doubt Z visa.
I chose to apply for 1entry ( 30 days ) L visa, with same day service, rather then 2 entry ( again 30 days each stay) F visa, and pick up next day.
That‘s all I can add for now

Next year, Asian Games. So visa situation actually will be tougher and tougher. But I am sure we will have a good solution. Please keep updated.

Yes, u r right. Because of the Celebration of 60th China National Day, so there is no multiple entries F visa now , and all the visa issued in China mainland can only until 30th Sept, 2009
